BRITT RATHBONE, LCSW-C He is active in training other therapists, speaks often to professional and lay groups on issues of adolescence and teaches advanced level social work graduate students at the Catholic University of America. Washingtonian Magazine has consistently named Mr. Rathbone one of Washington's best therapists for adolescents, and one of Washington's best therapists for group therapy. Mr. Rathbone is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers, the Greater Washington Society for Clinical Social Work, the American Group Psychotherapy Association, and is designated a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work, the highest level of recognition available through professional societies.

PHYLLIS POMERANTZ, LCSW-C Resume Claire Cohen is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in working with adolescents and their families. She obtained her social work degree from University of Maryland School of Social Work in 1996. She has experience working with adolescents with an array of emotional and behavior problems in a clinical and school setting. Ms. Cohen provides individual, group, and family therapy. JoJo Gaul is a licensed clinical social worker. She obtained her Master's degree from the National Catholic University School of Social Service in 2001 and her Bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame. She is particularly skilled in working with adolescents. Over the past 7 years, she has worked exclusively with this population in a variety of school-based and agency settings. Ms. Gaul provides individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
SUSAN LOUGHMAN, LCSW-C
GAVIN BEHRENS, LCSW-C Julie Baron is a licensed clinical social worker with particular expertise in treating adolescents and their families. She graduated from Boston University School of Social Work in 1994, and has since worked exclusively with children, adolescents, and families. Ms. Baron has worked in community based mental health clinics, residential treatment, and home-based settings and in both public and private schools. She has particular knowledge and experience in understanding different learning styles and disabilities as well as a variety of emotional and behavioral issues, and how these may interact to affect social/emotional functioning. She provides individual, group, and family therapy as well as school advocacy services. Carla C. Pappas is a licensed clinical social worker. She attained her Masters degree in 2001 from the University of Maryland. She has worked extensively in both clinical and school based settings with adults, adolescents and children. She provides individual, family and group therapy. Mrs. Pappas is particularly skilled in leading therapeutic groups for children and adolescents. She brings to the profession knowledge, clinical skill, enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility for the well being and care of individuals and families. Anu Liisa-Lukk received her master's degree in social work from the National Catholic University School of Social Service. Licensed in Maryland and DC, she is a trained and certified divorce mediator, and completed a year-long training program in childhood development at the Kennedy Krieger Institute at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. She has been the social work chief for the New Mexico Crippled Children's Services for children with disabilities; a staff therapist at a day treatment center for chronically mentally ill young adults; a senior therapist with Community Psychiatric Clinic; and the director of Child and Family Services at the Jewish Social Service Agency. She has extensive experience with teens and young adults. Resume Ludley Howard, LCSW-C, LICSW, received his Master of Social Work Degree from Smith College School for Social Work located in Northampton, Massachusetts. He is a licensed clinical social worker in Maryland and the District of Columbia with over 24 years of expertise and experience in working with children and adolescents in a variety of settings, including residential and community-based programs. Mr. Howard’s vision of creating effective, culturally competent services for this population led to the Founding of Pride Youth Services, Inc. in February 2001.
